What is the Digital Commons?
The Alverno College Library Digital Commons is an institutional repository for scholarly works produced by Alverno College students, faculty, and staff. This includes master's theses, doctoral dissertations, graduate capstone projects, student/faculty research projects, faculty-created Open Educational Resources (OER), and published faculty and staff research.

Who can view the work I submit to the Digital Commons?
The general public can find and view scholarly works in the Alverno College Digital Commons.

How do people find my work?
The Digital Commons and the files it contains are findable from major search engines, the Alverno College Library catalog (TOPCAT), and each item's unique permalink.

What is the file size limit for submissions?
Files must be less than 128MB.

When a work has multiple authors, do all the authors need to submit?
Only one author should submit the file, but all authors' names should be included on the submission form.

How long will my contribution be available here?
Works contributed to the Digital Commons will be available in perpetuity, or until the creator(s) of the works request that they be withdrawn.

Can I contribute something that has already been published?
Please contact your publisher to confirm their policies on including your work in the Digital Commons.

What if I no longer want my work in the Digital Commons?
Please contact library@alverno.edu and describe your request.

My work has an error. Can you fix it?
Please contact library@alverno.edu and describe the error. If it is in the file, please attach a corrected file to your email. The library does not keep submitted files offline.
