A program Evaluation/Education based project (EBP) was designed to evaluate staff educational outcomes related to the implementation of an early progressive mobility plan within a nine bed ICU in a small Midwestern hospital. The purpose of this project was evaluating the effectiveness of an educational session that will be presented on progressive mobility in relationship to staff implementation of progressive mobility. The intent of this project is to prevent functional decline in hospitalized ICU patients age 65 years and older and to reduce hospital cost.</text>
